There is a story campaign (prologue) and the waveshooter mode.

Yes, new players as well as players with lots of experience in VR will have a challenge in Rotten Apple, especially in the Waveshooter mode.

No, Rotten Apple is a PCVR only game.
WHICH HEADSETS DOES ROTTEN APPLE SUPPORT?
Supported are Valve Index, Vive Pro and Pro 2, Vive Focus 3 and Meta Quest 2. We are also working on supporting more headsets and Virtual Desktop.
IS THERE A HAPTIC VEST SUPPORT?
Yes, you can play the game with a haptic vest.
